If you have your Mobile Phone repaired, this simple guide will help you stay safe and avoid losing out to the wrong repair shop.
1, Remember that Apple does not sell parts to independent Mobile Phone repair shops, so if it’s genuine Apple, it’s either fake, refurbished or second hand.

Some will carry out your instruction, take the money and when your problem persists, they will blame you and say that they just did what you told them. It would help if you always described your mobile phones symptoms, and any good shop will give you the solution and the cost of the solution.
3, Don’t just get the repair shop to replace your battery because you think it is faulty. iPhone batteries are renowned for going wrong. Suppose your iPhone battery life is unsatisfactory. To check your battery health, go to,
Settings>Battery>Battery Health.
You can check the battery condition. It will show the battery Max capacity. It will also tell you if the battery is supporting everyday use.
If it is anything less than average, then the shop should change the battery. If the battery is in good condition, then the problem is not the battery. It could be several things. It could be water damage, a short on the board or the charging IC has gone down more likely. Therefore replacing a good battery for a good battery in an iPhone would make no difference to the performance or capacity over what was already in place. Another good way to gauge if your battery is faulty is if the iPhone turns off at a random battery level, say 20%
The market demands a cheap repair path for iPhone screen repairs, so most repair shops use Chinese copy screens. Some are high quality, and some are low quality. A good repair shop spends a little more on their iPhone Display screens to provide better quality displays and fewer customer returns. A poor-quality screen will have a colour tint to it when it powers on. You may be able to see individual pixels etc., or the screen may not sit in the housing correctly.
Don’t get fooled by ‘Original iPhone Displays sold here’. There are only two ways that an independent repair shop can supply an original Apple iPhone Screen! The first way is to take the screen from another iPhone. The second way to get an original display is to use a refurbished item. The quality of these should be excellent and ‘like for like’. The only problem with refurbished screens is that you do not know how old the display is. It could already be three or four years old when fitted to your device. Either way, the shop should tell you if you are getting a new copy screen or an original refurbished iPhone display.
Screen replacements do not require a passcode to provided. The repair Shop can adequately test a new screen without the need for you to provide full access to your iPhone documents, photos, and other private information.
When I first started up our mobile phone repair business, I did a little research first. Nearly every place I visited would take your mobile phone behind some screen or out to a back room. We repair phones in full view of the customer, so they can see what is going on. I even went into one shop and saw a customer leave a phone with the guy and then seconds later another guy arrived and took the phone off the premises! If your phone is going off the premises for maybe a next level repair, then the shop should let you know.
Always get a ticket that shows the following information.
1, Make of device.
2, Model No. Of the device.
3, Serial No / IMEI of the device,
4, A brief list of faults for repair.
5, An estimated repair completion date
