Note: If your drive is BitLocker-encrypted and you don’t have the recovery key, this cannot be bypassed. We’ll check for this immediately and advise on options.

If your PC has other issues (e.g., disk errors, malware, profile rebuild), we’ll give you a separate quote.
We only access the files and system areas needed to complete the reset. We never browse your personal files and treat every device with strict confidentiality.

Will I lose my files?
Not for standard local password resets. If the profile is damaged or the disk is failing, we’ll advise before doing anything.
What about Microsoft Accounts?
We can unlock the device to a local account and help you sign back into your Microsoft Account.
Can you bypass BitLocker?
No—if BitLocker is active, you’ll need the 48-digit recovery key (usually saved in your Microsoft Account).
How long does it take?
Standard drop-off resets are usually done the same day; while-you-wait is often under an hour.
Do you offer call-outs?
Yes—call-out service is available at £60 for the first hour plus travel.
