The process is simple, and all you need to do is pop into our shop and leave your iPhone with us for about 30 minutes. Once we have repaired your iPhone screen, you will be delighted with the results, and we will fit a new glass screen protector in with the deal.

When we receive an iPhone with a damaged or cracked Display, we always like to see the phone power on before starting the repair. We always check to see if the iPhone has a working Face ID or Home Button depending on what model iPhone we are repairing. If there is an error, we will point it to the customer before starting. Sometimes we cannot check for errors if the Screen is not working or is blank. We will also check to see if the phone is bent as occasionally we cannot fit a new screen if the housing is in that state. Sometimes we can straighten out a bent housing, but the iPhone with glass backs are a little more difficult as the glass could crack on attempting to bend the phone back straight.
The iPhone is carefully is opened on an Anti Static mat, and an anti-static wrist strap is used. Some iPhones with water-resistant seals are heated on a heat mat to loosen the seal. The Screen is released from the waterproof seal.
Removing the metal covers from inside the iPhone
Once the iPhone Screen is lifted from the iPhone Housing, we need to remove the metal covers covering the LCD Flex, Proximity Flex and the battery. Once removed, we unplug the battery.
Remove the iPhone screen.
We now carefully unplug the Display and Touch Screen flex cables from the connectors on the iPhone Logic board. The Screen is now completely removed from the iPhone.
Left behind in the hosing is the water-resistant seal. We remove it and get the iPhone housing ready for a brand new water-resistant seal.
The original cracked iPhone Screen still has the Proximity fitted to it, and we need to remove this part and transfer it to the new iPhone Screen. We need to do this so that the Face ID works once the new iPhone Screen is fitted to the iPhone.
From the iPhone 8 on the iPhone models have Truetone built into the Screen

We read the Truetone DATA from your broken iPhone Display.
The recorded file on the programmer is written to the new Screen to retain the truetone function on your repaired iPhone.
The new Screen is plugged back into the iPhone, and the iPhone is powered on to test that the Screen functions correctly.
We then replace the metal flex covers and place our warranty sticker over one of the screws.
The iPhone screen is then fitted back in the housing, and the new iPhone screen is rechecked to see that it functions correctly.
We always fit a Glass Screen Protector to a newly repaired iPhone Screen.
We then Produce a warranty receipt
All repairs are recorded on our system, and we produce a warranty receipt for the customer.
